Dematic Named as Honeywell APAC Voice Partner of the Year for 2022
May 24, 2023
Sydney, Australia – Honeywell has named automation technology provider, Dematic, as its 2022 Voice Partner of the Year for the Asia Pacific region at the recent 2023 Honeywell Productivity Solutions and Services (PSS) APACI Partner Conference in Bangkok, Thailand.
Honeywell presented long-term partner Dematic with the award for its strong achievements in the industry helping customers in food & beverage, grocery, retail, wholesale, and other vertical markets to integrate or upgrade voice-guided workflow technology to improve their supply chain processes and customer service.
Lee Koutsos, Director of Real-Time Logistics (RTL) at Dematic, said its Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) RTL team was proud to receive the award, which highlights their hard work and dedication in supporting local businesses upgrade with voice technology over the past year.
“Following continued pressure and growth in the supply chain industry in 2022, our ANZ RTL team had another challenging, but successful year, so it’s great to be recognised by Honeywell for all of our hard work and achievements,” said Lee. “Some of our big achievements during last year included working with leading Asia Pacific businesses such as Coles, Woolworths, GPC, and Lineage. Honeywell is a highly valued partner and it’s an honour for our work to be showcased and to be highlighted as an industry voice leader.”
The Honeywell award recognises partners who make major accomplishments in innovation, promote annual business growth, and provide the ability to integrate new and emerging technology into customer solutions.
Honeywell voice technology is a seamless, paperless, and hands-free, eyes up solution. The solution guides workers through a workflow using a mobile device and voice headset and sends voice inputs automatically back to the company’s centralised supply chain systems. This includes data gathered through anything from order-picking to replenishment and stocktake.
Voice technology can also be scaled to suit changing business requirements, while empowering management with greater control, flexibility, and visibility over their supply chain. Companies that integrate voice technology typically see double-digit improvements in labour utilisation, along with sizeable improvements in accuracy.
By pioneering voice solutions in Australia and New Zealand for over 20 years, Dematic is now a Platinum Elite Partner of Honeywell. Dematic RTL is the largest voice technology integrator in the ANZ region, with a team of dedicated software developers, project managers, engineers, and a round-the-clock internal service centre.
