LogiMAT: Dematic to Demonstrate How the Right Mix of Software and Partnerships Offer Warehouse Flexibility
Warehouse automation expert offers live demonstrations featuring robotics, AI in warehouse management and process optimisation to help customers reach facility efficiencies.
Frankfurt, January 23, 2025 - At the upcoming LogiMAT, March 11- 13, in Stuttgart, Germany, Dematic wants visitors to come away with a clear sense of the crucial role its software plays when combined with partnerships to design customised solutions for them providing facility agility.
At its Hall 1/H61 stand, the leading provider of intelligent automation technology has showcases that take visitors on a warehouse journey filled with live technology demonstrations, customer service training demonstrations, discussions on where the industry is heading as well as opportunities to meet with some technology partners, that when combined, help customers meet their supply chain ambitions.
“Talk in the industry has focused on having resilient and flexible processes as the key to sustainable supply chain practices. We believe that Dematic is in a unique position to bring all of the best the industry has to offer into a single, customised solution that can help customers achieve these kinds of processes to remain competitive,” explains Rene Sickler, managing director of Dematic DACH.
Whether its learning how Dematic comes together with fellow KION Group brands, strong partnerships with companies such as AutoStore™, or the recently announced KION collaboration with NVIDIA, visitors can experience first-hand the benefits they reap from a seamless combination of automation, software, industrial trucks and other advanced technologies in an integrated solution developed by Dematic. On display will be an innovative, autonomous shuttle for high-density pallet storage solutions involving the Dematic partnership with EuroFork.
“Our approach is based on looking at the market from a solution-oriented perspective rather than strictly differentiating between industries,” explains Sickler, adding “we see ourselves as a technology integrator of the best from the best.”
Live product training sessions offer an opportunity to experience technician trainings at the Dematic Service Academy and an interactive drone experience where individuals can use flight simulators to track down the ten most critical maintenance problems in a warehouse are just a few a few examples of live and interactive elements available during the 3-day event. “Our success is not only based on the technologies we offer, but above all on our people. Our in-house developed drone solution, launched at LogiMAT a few years ago, continues to evolve as a leading maintenance solution,” notes Sickler.
Dematic Software and its role as the true “brain” in facility operations can be experienced in several solutions showcased this year. The Dematic bin-to-picker solution with autonomous mobile robots (AMR) move effortlessly while a newly integrated robotic arm performs the picking offers a glimpse of how efficiencies can be achieved with advanced Dematic software coordinating the entire process. The Dematic Condition Monitoring System tracks the operating status of machines and systems in real time to detect problems at an early stage and prevent breakdowns is also a new feature at this year’s show. Once again, intelligent software from Dematic is behind the precise analysis and proactive maintenance planning.
If the solution demonstrations are not enough, visitors can also look forward to the Dematic Innovation Stage, where company experts provide insights into the future of logistics, the role of AI in warehouses and innovative approaches to sustainable processes.
Throughout the stand, visitors will be able to see how one business goal in particular – sustainability - is addressed during the development of a Dematic solution. A creative carbon footprint demonstration calculates the stand’s CO2 footprint. Individuals can also use a touchscreen to analyse their own impact and receive valuable tips to make reductions. Get ready to experience how realising your ambitions are Dematic’s mission!
