Dematic will appoint a Training Coordinator responsible for the organisation and delivery of the training. We recommend that Customer provide an internal contact to work alongside this person to agree arrangements for the delivery. Both the exact content of the training and related documentation will be discussed and developed with our Training Coordinator and Customer during the project delivery phase. We may require evidence of qualifications for some of our advanced training courses.

Dematic’s dedicated training team will be on hand to provide your staff with the necessary training and practical experience to help them safely operate and where necessary, maintain the material handling system.

If selected, you will receive site-specific sessions, based on your premises to allow learning by experience. Learning is better retained when it is put into practice. Our experienced trainers will take you through the system in a blended way, mixing theoretical and practical approaches, allowing your staff to bring the knowledge gained into operation. All our trainers have relevant experience and knowledge to deliver the individual operational and technical training modules. Training delegates need to have relevant experience and appropriate knowledge and education to achieve the course objectives

We will prepare the training and ensure facilities are available to meet the requirements of the programme. We will prepare a detailed plan providing sufficient notice to allow you to organise attendance for the specific courses we arrange. We recognise that Customer will have specific requirements and we will custom build our courses to meet your requirements. Each training module will have clear objectives and outcomes. We will provide training materials for each course.

Our operational training is designed to train the trainer. We will work with you to identify, if appropriate, the candidates to be trained as trainer. This will allow you to take this training into your own control, which will facilitate managing the roll-out of the knowledge. Our training included within the project scope will focus on the following trainee groups:

• Operator and operator: Employees learn how to operate the systems safely as well as troubleshooting and understanding the flow of goods.
• Maintenance personnel (mechanics + electrics): Focus on practical maintenance and troubleshooting for technicians.
• IT technicians and administrators: Training for IT specialists on navigation and troubleshooting in the IT system.
• Visualisation and control station personnel: Optimal use of visualisation functions for efficient monitoring of the system.
• Third-party trades: Additional training for third-party trades is available on request
